§ Worked closely with the instructor, Professor Tamara McGavock, to provide instructional support to 25 microeconomics students including writing exam questions and consulting on grading rubrics
§ Developed the learning outcomes of students by designing and administering customized problem sets during weekly problem-solving practice sessions; actively assisted students’ development of their economic intuition during weekly office hour sessions
§ Achieved highest participation from students compared to previous years with an average attendance rate of 42.1% of enrolled students using their free time to engage with the mentor session materials
§ Assisted in increasing the median student exam scores by 23.7% from Exam 1 to Exam 3 leading to a higher grade distribution and deeper understanding of material
